April Update...

 

April has been exciting and full! At the beginning of the month my good parents came to visit on conference weekend! We loved having them here and always will(: We always have such a great time together. Thanks Mom & Dad, we love you!

For our good friend Cody Gunnell's birthday, he & Jen invited us down for the weekend to celebrate! We got to go to a Bee's game and shopped at the Gateway! We are so grateful for them!

This month seemed to be full of baseball/softball! Some other good friends of ours, Ian & Holly Silva, invited us

to play intramural softball with them! We played on a co-ed team together and Curt also played on a men's team! Luckily enough, both teams won the championship! Yeah for winning a t-shirt!(:  

Curt quickly became famous for sacrificing his body for the game. This was one of many battle wounds he recieved! I about died when he put hydrogen peroxide on them all. He had to shut himself in the bathroom and forced himself to srubb out the wounds! For any of you who don't know, Curt HATES peroxide...He's such a trooper!(: 

Here's the co-ed team, we didn't know many of them at first besides Ian & Holly, but met some great people!

And here's the men's team! Thanks so much Ian & Holly for letting us play!(: We had a blast!

 Last but not least, this is what I got to come home to this afternoon! Last night we had to run to wal mart and I have been wanting beautiful white plates for a long time. While we were there I found these for a steal of a deal. ( i had no idea wal mart even had dinner wear) Anyways, so I sheepishly gave Curt the look like I really wanted them and he said, "well get them." Then I felt guilty and said no, so he said, "then don't get them." So what does the dumb girl in me do...? I got them, not only the regular plates but the salad plates too! We got home pretty late so I was going to put off washing them and taking those annoying stickers off until today, but when I came home Curt had all the dishes done and put away and our little table beautifully set! I married such a sweetheart!

(The flowers are from the greenhouse I work in...it's a fantastic perk cause I LOVE having fresh flowers on my table!)
