CURT WAS THE DESIGNATED TURKEY CARVER AND WAS A LITTLE NERVOUS AT FIRST, BUT DID A GREAT JOB!
AFTER THE MEAL WE HAD A QUICK MINUTE TO RUN OVER TO MY FAMILY'S THANKSGIVING TO SAY HELLO! IT WAS GREAT SEEING EVERYONE AGAIN, AND WE FOUND OUT WE ARE GOING TO BE AN AUNT AND UNCLE FOR THE 3RD TIME! CONGRATULATIONS CHRIS & RACHEL!
ONCE WE MADE IT HOME WE WERE EAGER TO GET INTO THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS. I HAD A RELIEF SOCIETY MEETING AND MADE THESE YUMMY PEANUT SWEETIES!
WE ALSO STARTED DECORATING OUR LITTLE APARTMENT AND I MADE THESE 'HO,HO,HO' BLOCKS! THEY TOOK FOREVER, BUT I'M PLEASED WITH HOW THEY TURNED OUT!
AND FINALLY WE BOUGHT OUR OWN CHRISTMAS TREE! THANKS TO TARGET FOR THE SMOKIN' DEAL. WE HAVE HAD A LOT OF FUN DECORATING IT AND COME HOME FROM THE STORE EVERY TIME WITH SOMETHING NEW TO ADD. WE TRIED A TREE TOPPER BUT OUR WEAK LITTLE TREE COULDN'T HANDLE IT): SO HERE IT IS FOR NOW!
Way darling post. The pictures are wonderful and your tree is so pretty. Good job guys. Now hurry home so you can decorate mine!!! It was so fun to have you here, can't wait. Good luck on those finals, you will have to give me a call and let me know how they go. This too shall pass!!!! (Literally!!!) I am soooo funny.
