GREAT FRIENDS!!!
The weekend before last our friend Spencer's
fiance Molly got to stay with us! We had such a great time with them and are so excited for them to be married, only a few more weeks! On monday the Nielson family (Bro. Nie
lson was Spencer and my second counselor in the Bishopric last year) had a bunch of us from our ward last year over for a dinner. They are awesome, dinner was amazing and we loved visiting with each other and laughing a lot(: Hopefully if everything works out we'll get to go to New York with Spencer and Molly, we're crossing our fingers that it's not one of those things you say and get excited for and it never happens. So, we'll see. That same monday our friends Jake and Brianna Issacson had us over to frost sugar cookies for family night. Holy COw...we laughed so much, Brianna won the best cookie decorator award and the re
st of ours we just got a kick out of(: Curt and I are so blessed to have great friends that we have so much in common with! Thanks for all the LaUGhS!!! The top left are our exquisite sugar cookie turkey's and leaves, top right are Spencer & Molly, bottom left is us, and this one is Jake & Brianna!
THANKSGIVING WEEKEND
THESE ARE BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURE OF OUR ROOM!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Curt and I had such a fun weekend with the Moutsos family down in Salt Lake. We weren't able to travel all the
way home but we sure made some great memories for our first Thanksgiving together. We got to drive down wednesday afternoon and finally got to go to TARGET!!! We don't have one here in Logan so every time we go down it is a must, even if we just want to look(: We did that and went to IKEA! What a nightmare! Don't ever try and go back for anything, it felt like we were lost in a huge maze! We still enjoyed being together though! Thursday, turkey day, was so much fun! The Moutsos have a great way to celebrate the day and eat almost every second! Curt and I really enjoyed their family and how fun it was to have people come and go all day! Their family is amazing! Friday we were brave and shopped on the infamous BLACK FRIDAY! BOM BOM BOM...it actually wasn't too bad! We decided to furbish our bedroom for our Christmas present to each other! We scored at Hobby Lobby! And were so excited to get home and decorate! Saturday we came back home to Logan and we got to work on our room! It is BEAUTIFUL! WE LOVE IT! and are so happy with making it our first Christmas present to each other! We did miss our families but are looking forward to being home with them in just 2 weeks! We sure have been blessed with much and are so grateful for it all, especially this Thanksgiving! I will put up pictures from Thanksgiving once Ashley emails me!!!

Our Story!
So I thought it would be fun to tell everyone about us! Curt and I are both from Mesa, Az and grew up less than a mile away from each other. He has 3 brothers and I have 3 brothers. It seems to be that some things that happened were just meant to be! We also were in the same stake together bu
t I didn'y know who he was until I hit junior high. Oh My...I thought he was the cutest frshman ever. Well you know how it goes he knew of my family mostly my dad but probably didn't even know I existed. Time went on and my sophomore year and his senior year we ended up in the same seminary class(: It was so fun and we became somewhat friends. He worked for my dad with my brother after he graduated and right before he left. I was loving
it. We really saw him around more often, got invited to him opening his call and a few other things. My dad spoke at his mission leaving talk and there I learned that Curt's grandpa took my dad through the temple! CRAZY, CRAZY! So he left and I really wanted to write him but didn't know how to start. His mom was in our stake yw pres and she said that he would love it. So we wrote back and forth my senior year and it kinda dwindled down when I was close to graduation and part of my freshman year at utah state! Well my dream has always been to marry a cute cowboy in the logan temple but I thought it'd never happen. Christmas break rolled around and I knew he was coming home. Lucky for me my mom took their family pictures a day after he got back. My brother Jordan and I tagged along and my stomach was in knots...the funny thing is is that I'm sure he was clueless. I would be too. The next day our syblings went to the movies and after Christmas we got together to play football and ended up going camping over new years. It sure happened fast cause I only had 6 days left before I came up to school and some how we both fell in love! It was unbelieveable. So many coincidences happened and I sure was in lala land! He took me to the airport and sent me off and the whole spring semester we spent apart besides fun breaks and holidays. Over spring break he popped the question and on July 1, 2008 we were sealed in the LOGAN TEMPLE! wE had a blast in Santa Monica on our honeymoon going to Disneyland, watching fireworks on the 4th, going to the LA Temple and seeing the Hollywood sign. We loved it! After we were home for about 6 weeks and then moved up to Logan to finish up school. Curt is working now and trying to get enrolled for the Spring semester and I am in school and working a little! We are loving life, being married, making new friends, and esp. those visits back home! Hence a dream come true!!!

Too bad trips have to end
We made it back! We had such a fun weekend with our families back home...but it was way too short. We came home and extended our Christmas trip right away(: You know you think you are doing great being all married and out own your own, but when you make that short visit sometimes we wish we could be closer to our families. But hey, it sure is a great experience and opportunity for us. Well the start of the trip was exciting! We flew on this mini airplane and Curt was so fun and kept saying, "Ooooh, I feel like a celebrity!" He's so cute(: Anyways, we got to visit with Curt's family before my parents flew in from Disneyland. They were so awesome and treated us to MATTAS (our favorite mexican food!)...we sure have missed that. So Curt made sure to buy a few bottles of salsa to bring home with us! Then we went and picked up my parents and can I say it was the first time I think I surprised my dad! It was great(: We had an amazing weekend with lots and lots of laughs. And HOLY COW...our little niece Anna has grown so big, she was smiling and giggling all the time! I LOVED IT(: I wish I had more pictures, but my mom took most of them so we'll see if i can get more from her!
