What a Great Christmas!

We are having such a fun break! Its' been perfect for our first Christmas together! First off, we'll start with The Sunderhaus Christmas (jacque's family) we had ours the sunday before because it is the in-law year. We had such a blast(: Ithas been our tradition for the past couple years to draw names and homemake our gifts. My mom did a whole description of everyone's on her blog, she did a great job. But to make things short I was once again impressed with the family's creativity! Great memories! And of course, lots and lots of laughs! Here we are! Little Anna never seems be looking at the camera when everyone else is, but she is still so dang cute!

As for Christmas Day, we spent with the Dana's! We had an amazing day, filled with many more memories. Oddly enough Curt and I were the last ones up, it was only 8 o'clock(: I really loved some of the traditions they have, we have now. For stockings they have always used cowboy boots, LOVE IT!
and this year mom decided before we got to open a present that we had to answer Christmas trivia questions. It was a fun way to make the time last a little longer. We were so blessed with many gifts, but most of all I am just so grateful to have Curt! We got to read in Luke 2 before all the events began and it was a great reminder to what this day is all about! This afternoon we got to sneak over to my granparents house (The Welker's) and say hi and visit and this evening we were back at the Dana's and mom's side (The Gross') came over for Christmas dinner. It was a wonderful Day(: Can't wait til next year!

And just for a little summary of the in betweens of our break...we have been so blessed to attend our friends Spencer & Molly Hastings sealing and spend some time with them before we head back up to school, we went on a fun bike ride, bowling, hair cuts, cooking yummy holiday treats, and spent lots of time with family & friends(:

HOME FOR CHRISTMAS

We made it!!! After a few hours of waiting through the snow we finally landed in Phoenix! I don't think I have been so happy to get out of Utah! But we did get to know our plane mates pretty well(: The night before we came home our ward had a way fun Christmas Party! Curt got to be a wise men with our friends Jake and Cody and I was a filler-in angel, but it all worked out! We must have been so good they wanted an encore! HAHAHA, yeah right we weren't that great but we did play in the manger scene twice at the party. We had a blast eating, laughing, sittin on santa's lap, and laughing some more(: COming home is one of those bitter sweet things. We are so so excited to be home with our families but we sure have made a lot of amazing freinds and will miss seeing them around for the next few weeks. We wish everyone a merry christmas and can't wait to here all the fun stories! This past week was finals week and, we made it through. It wasn't too bad now that I look back at it, but it sure is rough studying and preparing when you're definately not in the mood to! And Curt got his last fishing trip in and caught 2, BUT broke his pole...so we'll see whats goin to happen when we get back! So far being home has been a great reward after finals, we have already hit one of our favorite places to eat...MATTAS! we have a lot more on the list, BAHAMA BUCKS, IN & OUT BURGER, and PETE'S FISH & CHIPS! We sure are looking forward to this week. Curt gets to work with my dad and brother[s] (same place he worked before we moved) this week to earn a few extra pennies...always nice for poor college newlyweds and I am so grateful for his willingness to provide for our little family. This week our friends Molly & Spencer are getting sealed, my cousins wife is going through the temple, we get to continue shoppin and making our gifts, and thus sunday is the Sunderhaus' Christmas (my maiden name, it's the in-law year so we're having ours early!) We hope all of you are having a wonderful christmas season and enjoy the wonderful spirit it brings!
